Installation requirements vary depending on the property, appliance, chimney, flue arrangement and existing heating system.
What is included?
The exact scope of an installation is confirmed with the customer before work begins.
Depending on the package selected, installation may include:
- delivery of the appliance;
- positioning of the appliance;
- connection to the appropriate flue system;
- removal of an existing appliance where specifically included;
- testing and commissioning where applicable.
The exact inclusions and exclusions will be stated in your quotation.
Site suitability
Before installation, we may need to assess:
- chimney condition;
- flue requirements;
- hearth requirements;
- ventilation;
- access;
- appliance suitability;
- property-specific requirements.
Additional work may be required if the existing installation is unsuitable.
We will discuss any additional work or costs with you before proceeding.
Installation times
We will provide an estimated installation date when your installation is arranged.
Installation times can vary depending on the appliance, property and work required.
Customer responsibilities
Customers must provide reasonable access to the property and inform us of any relevant access restrictions or property conditions before installation.
Safety and compliance
Stove and heating installations must be appropriate for the appliance and property and carried out in accordance with applicable requirements.
Where a particular certification, registration or qualification is claimed, the applicable details will be provided to the customer.

*This Installation package based on supply of standard stove and fireplace where there is an existing stove or fireplace in place already with a standard 8" Flue liner. If there is not an open fire or existing stove or chimney, then it will need a site survey. We recommend sending an image of the current fireplace/stove and also a picture of the outside of the house along with an Eircode. We can then assess if the selected package is suitable.Not sure? Send us a picture of what's there, along with wall and room measurements L x B x H. Also a picture showing the chimney and we'll tell you what's suitable.
Price is based using ladder access to the chimney, if a hoist/cherry picker is required it will be charged directly between hire company and customer.
